Empathy in Action: Grade 12 Students Participate in International Day of Persons with Disabilities

On December 22, 2025, the Grade 12 (Terminale) students of Arc de Triomphe School took part in the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, held at King Abdulaziz Hospital.

A Journey of Social Awareness and Citizenship

This participation provided our students with a firsthand look at the medical, humanitarian, and educational initiatives designed to support individuals with disabilities. Beyond mere observation, the experience served to strengthen their social sensitivity and their commitment to active citizenship.

Deepening the Understanding of Inclusion

Through interactive workshops and meaningful exchanges with professional healthcare teams, the students developed a more profound understanding of:

  • Inclusion and Accessibility: The daily challenges and solutions involved in creating an equitable society.
  • The Role of Healthcare Institutions: The essential support systems provided by hospitals to empower individuals.
  • Human Connection: Engaging directly with specialists to learn about the diverse paths of patient care.

Fostering Responsible Global Citizens

This enriching experience is a core part of our school’s mission: to mold responsible young leaders who are open to the world and deeply grounded in the values of solidarity and respect for all.
